NEWLYWED WOMAN WAS STRANGULATED TO DEATH IN BHOJPUR VILLAGE MERELY FOR A MOTORCYCLE
One newlywed woman was strangulated to death and hanged to the ceiling fan to give colour of suicide at Hirakhi Pipara village under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district.
ARA (RNI) One newlywed woman was strangulated to death and hanged to the ceiling fan to give colour of suicide at Hirakhi Pipara village under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district. The deceased was identified as Khushi Kumari wife of Abhishek Rai of Hirakhi Pipara villge. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Shahpur police station against eight persons including the husband, father-in-law, mother-in-law of the deceased and others on the statement of Dinesh Kumar, uncle of the deceased. Police are investigating the matter.
Quoting the FIR, the SHO Shahpur police station Rajanikant said that Khushi Kumari 20 daughter of Jai Shankar Kuer of Dumari village under Semari police station in Buxar district was married to Abhishek Rai son of Gorakh Rai of Hirakhi Pipara village under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district on July 12, 2024. Since they were already in love for the last three years and so they got married.
On the other hand, the family members of the deceased said that the in-laws were demanding a motorcycle and when their demand was not fulfilled, they strangulated her to death and hanged her to the ceiling fan to give it colour of suicide.
