NEWLYWED WOMAN COMMITS SUICIDE

ARA--------------------------Fed up with harassment of her family members, one newlywed woman committed suicide by hanging herself to the ceiling of her house at Jawainiya village under Bahoranpur police outpost in Bhojpur district. The deceased was identified as Neha Kumari 22 wife of Raju Sah of Jawainiya village. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Bahoranpur police outpost against the husband, father-in-law, mother-in-law, brother-in-law and others in this regard on the statement of the father of the deceased. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the named accused.

Quoting the FIR, the SHO Bahoranpur police outpost said that Neha Kumari daughter of Lal Jee Sah of Chandrapura village under Brahmpur police station in Buxar district was married to Raju Sah of Jawainiya village under Bahoranpur police outpost in Bhojpur district in February 2022 and since the in-laws tortured her physically and mentally merely for a motorcycle but the father of the deceased could not yield to their demand due to financial crunch and so the in-laws killed Neha Kumari and hanged the body to the ceiling to give colour of suicide. All the family members of the deceased family are absconding since the incident
