NEWLY MARRIED WOMAN KILLED FOR MOTORCYCLE

Ara, 17 February 2023, (RNI): One newly married woman was killed by hanging her to the ceiling at Piparpanti village under Krishnagarh police station today merely for a motorcycle. The police rushed to the spot and recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. An FIR was lodged with the police under Krishnagarh police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. The deceased was identified as Monika Devi 22 wife of Dharmendra Prasad of Piparpanti village.

SHO Krishnagrah police station Brajesh Kumar said that Paraasnath Tatwa of Badahara village under the same police station had married his daughter Asha Devi on December 7, 2022 with Dharmendra Prasad son of Jawahar Prasad of Piparpanti village. Since her in-laws tortured her physically and mentally merely for a motorcycle. When their demand was not fulfilled, they hanged her to the ceiling of the house and killed her.
