NEW BORN BABY THROWN ON GARBAGE, DIED DUE TO INSENSITIVENESS OF POLICE
A case of throwing a new born baby on garbage after packing it in a gunny bag on Itimha-Sakala main road near Kusiyadih village under Karakat police station in Rohtas district but the baby died as the police arrived at the spot late despite giving information in the regard.
Sasaram, 12 July 2023, (RNI): A case of throwing a new born baby on garbage after packing it in a gunny bag on Itimha-Sakala main road near Kusiyadih village under Karakat police station in Rohtas district but the baby died as the police arrived at the spot late despite giving information in the regard.
The villagers said that someone packed a new born baby in a gunny bag and threw it on the garbage on Itimha-Sakala main road near Kusiyadih village under Karakat police station and the morning walkers heard the cry of the baby and informed the police in the morning but the police did not turn up. Later the villagers informed the SDPO, Bikramganj Shashi Bhushan Singh and at his initiative, the SIs Neha Kumari and Anjalika Kumar came on the spot at about 3pm but the baby died till. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The villagers blamed had the police swung action on time, the baby could have been saved.
