NEPHEW STABBED HIS UNCLE TO DEATH

ARA (RNI) Nephew stabbed to death his uncle over domestic and property dispute near Badi Mathia under Ara town police station and escaped from the scene. The deceased was identified as Manjay Kumar 40 son of late Lal Mohan Singh and was a mobile mechanic. The police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Ara town police station in this regard and the police are investigating the matter.

Sanjay Kumar elder brother of the deceased said that the deceased was the youngest among the three brothers. His nephew son of Arun Kumar, eldest brother always used to quarrel and so his mother had taken him away about 20 years ago. Despite he frequently came and quarreled over property and threated with dire consequences. He said that the house is too small and his father was given a room to live in but his nephew dragged him out and lacked the door. In the afternoon, he came and when all the members of the family were away and only Manjay Kumar along with his wife was in the house. Taking advantage of the situation, he stabbed to death Manjay Kumar and escaped from the scene. He also uprooted the electric meter and took it away with him.

ASP Parichay Kumar said that a long standing property dispute was the reason behind the incident. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreant.
