ARA----------------------------“National Cancer Awareness Day” was organized on the premises of GNM, Ara Sadar Hospital. Dr. K N Sinha, ACMO and Dr. Praveen Kumar Sinha NCDO, Bhojpur, Principal, ANM School, Ara, Dr. Snehil Sneha and Dr. Suhani Bhardwaj jointly inaugurated the programme. 

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Praveen Kumar Sinha said that due to increase number of cancer patients in the country, the Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan, after a high level meeting in September 2014, unanimously declared November 7 as ‘National Cancer Day’ in the country and since national cancer awareness day is organized every year in the country on November 7. He said that cancer is a fatal disease and one it infects a person, it increased day by day. Its treatment is every expensive and causes many types of physical pain. The main attraction of the even was that the ANM School girls displayed all types of cancer painting and wrote about the main symptoms, causes and treatment and informed everyone through mike. Dr. Praveen Kumar Sinha gave pen to all the participants and thus encouraged everyone. The entire pandal got excited with enthusiasm of the girl students.

Dr. Suhani Bhardwaz and Dr. Snehil Sneha laid emphasis on cancer screening and advised to get cancer diagnosed in the early staged. Mrs, Rinsi, a teacher in the ANM School, also spoke about the cancer and shared information.
