MURDER ACCUSED OF A SAND TRADER KILLED

ARA (RNI) Some unidentified armed miscreants shot dead an accused involved in the murder of a sand trader Devraj Rai at Tirthkaul village under Sandesh police station today in Bhojpur district from point blank range and threw his body in a bush nearby. The shepherds informed the family members about the incident. The deceased was identified as Sri Ram Singh 25 son of Baliram Singh of Repura village under Sandesh police station. He was wanted in the murder of a sand trader Devraj Rai and was absconding. The police had attached his property. Sri Ram Singh worked at Sand Ghat as loader.

Baliram Singh father of the deceased said that his son Sri Ram Singh had gone to Sand Ghat No C-15 at Tirthkaul village under Sandesh police station in the night of December 1, 2024 after taking meal. When he did not return till late night, he talked with him on his mobile. He assured that he would return very soon. But meanwhile, some armed miscreants shot him dead. The shepherds saw this and informed the family members and the police. Baliram Singh said that a bullet motorcycle was stolen in the village and Sri Ram Singh was implicated in that case.

ASP Prichay Kumar said that some armed miscreants had shot dead a sand trader Devraj Rai at the gate of Rani Talab police station inn Patna on November 6, 2024. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Rani Talab police station in this regard against and Sri Ram Singh was made named accused and since he was absconding. The ASP further said that the family members have not given any written application, however the police are investigating the matter.
