ARA--------------------------Bhojpur police recovered body of a youth from a bush near Sikariya Halt under Tier police station in Bhojpur district and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Nitish Prasad Singh 39 son of Kamlesh Prasad Singh of Bahuara village under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur district. He was an Medical Representative by profession and worked in a medicine company and lived in a rented house along with his family at New Police Line area under Nawada police station. An FIR was lodged with the police under Nawada police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter. The family members suspected that someone killed him and threw the body in the bush near Sikariya Halt merely to erase evidence as the back side of the head was badly smashed.

Anjilesh Kumar Singh, younger brother of the deceased said that he had talk with Nitish Prasad Singh and had said that potatoes were to be uprooted from the field and he would come by 3pm but when he called him again at about 12 in the noon, his mobile was switched off. When he called the wife of the deceased, she said that he had set out of the house in the morning and since she had no talk with him. He further said that husband and wife had some tiff over trivial matter in the morning. Later he talked with the brother-in-law (sadhu) of the deceased who said that to come to Ara with mother as the wife and the children were crying at Ara. When he reached Ara, the brother-in-law said that the body of Nitish Prasad Singh was found in the bush near Sikariya Halt. He denied any enmity with anyone.
