ARA---------------------------Speeding Hydra knocked down and killed a mechanic and owner of a garage near Kayamnagar Over Bridge under Gidgha police station on Ara-Patna National Highway when he was crossing the road. The deceased was identified as Kalpnath Sharma 66 son of late Gudar Sharma of Gadwar village under Darauli police station in Siwan district. He had a garage at Gidha Bazaar under Gidha police station in Bhojpur district and was a mechanic. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
Tuntun Sharam, son of the deceased said that he had a shop of motor spare parts and garage at Gidha Bazaar and his father was a mechanic. He along with his father worked in the garage. When he was crossing the road after eating betel on the other side of the road, a speeding hydra knocked down and killed him on spot. After the incident, he informed the police. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
