A case of outraging modesty of minor girl under Simari police station area in Buxar district came to light. The police brought the girl to the Buxar Sadar Hospital for medical examination and also produced her in the Buxar Civil Court to get her statement registered under section 164 CrPC. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Simari police station and the police are conducting raids to arrest the rapist.

BUXAR--------------------------A case of outraging modesty of minor girl under Simari police station area in Buxar district came to light. The police brought the girl to the Buxar Sadar Hospital for medical examination and also produced her in the Buxar Civil Court to get her statement registered under section 164 CrPC. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Simari police station and the police are conducting raids to arrest the rapist.
Buxar SP Manish Kumar said that a youth of Simari police station area enticed a 5 year old girl promising her a chocolate and took her to a seclude place where he outraged her modesty. The rapist left her after she fell unconscious. The girl regained conscious after several hours and reached her house but the family members so terrified that they were not ready to say anything in this regard as the rapist belonged to an influential family of the village. The family members took the girl to a village doctor for treatment. But the mediapersons somehow got the news and informed the Dumrao SDPO Asfaque Ansari. After that the police swung into action and the SDPO under his supervision, took the girl to the Simari Primary Health Centre and sent a police team to arrest the rapist but the rapist, knew that the police are coming to arrest him, escaped from the village.
