MODESTY OF A TEENAGE GIRL OUTRAGED

ARA, (RNI) A case of outraging modesty of a teenage girl came to light at Karath village under Tarari police station in Bhojpur district. The police brought the girl to the Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination and also produced her in the court to get her statement registered under section 164 CrPC. The police also arrested the rapist and sent him to jail under judicial custody. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Tarari police station against the rapist on the statement of the father of the girl.

SHO Tarari police station Pradeep Kumar Bhashkar said that a teenage girl had gone to the field at Karath village under Tarari police station in night on Monday December 11, 2023 to attend call of nature when Ahsan Ali alias Chhotu Mian 20 son of Firoz Ali of the village caught her and took her to a secluded place where he outraged her modesty and escaped from the scene after the girl fainted. When the girl did not return home, the family members searched for her and found her lying unconscious in the field. The family members rushed her to the Primary Health Centre at Tarari. After regaining consciousness, the girl narrated her ordeal. The family members informed the police about the incident and also lodged a named FIR with the police under Tarari police station against Ahasan Ali alias Chhotu Mian son of Firoz Ali of Karath village. After institution of FIR, the police swung into action and arrested Ahsan Ali alias Chhotu Mian and sent him to jail under judicial custody.
