MODESTY OF A MINOR GIRL OUTRAGED IN BHOJPUR VILLAGE

ARA----------------------------A case of outraging modesty of a minor girl in Bhojpur village has come to light when she was returning home after unfurling national flag in her school. The police at once arrested an accused Ajay Singh 60 in this regard. The police also brought the girl to the Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination. An FIR was lodged with the police under Giddha police station in this regard on the statement of the girl and the police are investigating the matter.

Quoting the FIR the SHO Giddha police station Usum Salma said that the 10 year old girl and a student of Class V had gone to her school to unfurl national flag on the occasion of Republic Day. When she was returning home, Ajay Singh 60 of her village in a state of intoxication, came about 300 meter from her house and caught her from behind and took her to his house in the village in his arms, tied her and thrashed her too. Later he outraged her modesty and threatened with dire consequences if she dared to say anyone about the incident. She was crying but the rapist did not have pity on her. She somehow came home and narrated her ordeal to her mother.

Mother of the girl said that Ajay Singh of the village in a state of intoxication outraged modesty of her daughter in a secluded place in the village. She stated that now how would she send her daughter to school. It the situation remains like this, no one will send their daughter to school. She further said that the government says to educate the girls but never told asto how? She demanded the government capital punishment for the accused so that she could get justice.
