A youth outraged modesty of a teenage girl in a village under Jagdishpur police station when she had gone to the field to attend call of nature. Later the police arrested the rapist.
Ara, 21 February 2023, (RNI): A youth outraged modesty of a teenage girl in a village under Jagdishpur police station when she had gone to the field to attend call of nature. Later the police arrested the rapist. The rapist was identified as Krishna Mahato son of Birendra Mahato of Masadh Tola. The police lodged a named FIR against him and sent him to jail after interrogation.
Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that the girl was a student of matriculation and she had gone to the field to attend call of nature on February 18, 2023 in the evening when Krishna Mahato caught her from behind and outraged her modesty. When the girl raised an alarm, villagers rushed to the spot. Seeing the villagers, the youth escaped from the scene. The girl reached her house with the help of the villagers and narrated her woes. She also complained the police on mobile. The police at once swung into action and arrested the rapist. The police also brought the girl to the Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination.
