MISCREANTS STOLE IDOLS OF LORD RAM AND GODDESS SITA

Ara (RNI) Some unidentified miscreants broke into a temple at Hatpokhar under Jagdishpur police station at about midnight in Bhojpur district and decamped with ashtdhatu idols of lord Ram and Goddess Sita. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Jagdishpur police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants and to recover the idols.

SHO Jagdishpur police station Bigau Ram said that three youths had come to the priest of the temple on the pretext of worship and entered the temple. Later they decamped with idols of lord Ram and Goddess Sita. Resentment prevails among the villagers following the incident.
