ARA------------------------Some unidentified miscreants killed a nine month old child and threw the body into a bush after stealing it from a house from Bhorahi Tola under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur district. Police recovered the body and brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. Irate villagers blocked the Ara-Mohania main road near Hatpokhar Bridge and raised slogans against Bhojpur district administration. They were demanding arrest the miscreants. The blockade could be lifted after positive response of police officials. The deceased was identified as Yuvraj 9 month son of Vikas Yadav of Tier village under the same police station in Bhojpur district.
SHO Jagdishpur police station said that Yuvraj along with his mother Puja Devi had come to his maternal grandfather at Bhorahi Tola under Jagdishpur police station since Rakshabandhan. He was sleeping along with his mother, aunt and maternal grandmother Arati when at about 11pm some miscreants stole the child and when his mother woke up, she did not find her child. All the family members searched for him and when failed, they informed the police about the missing of the child. The police also searched but the child could not be found in the night. Next day, the police recovered the body of the child from a bush about 200 meters away from his house.
