MISCREANTS SHOT DEAD AN EMPLOYEE OF BAJAJ FINANCE

ARA (RNI) Some unidentified armed miscreants pumped nine bullets into the body of an employee of Bajaj Finance from point blank range and killed him on spot at Sarangpur village under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur district in the late evening on March 31, 2024. On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. Police also recovered nine blank cartridges and a mobile from the spot. The deceased was identified as Mukesh Kumar Singh 23 son of Shankar Singh of Bhel Dumara under Ara Muffassil police station. He was a DCA (Collection Boy) in the Bajaj Finance Company at Katira locality for the last one year. An FIR has been lodge with the police under Ara Muffassil police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that he got information in the late evening that some armed miscreants shot dead a youth near Swastik Brick Kiln at Sarangpur village under Ara Muffassil police station. He at once formed a police team under the ASP and the police team in investigating the matter on the basis of CCTV footage and local inputs and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. The SP further said that the footage of the CCTV installed in a shop nearby showed that three masked miscreants on a while colour Apache motorcycle chased Mukesh Kumar Singh and the police are investigating the matter on the basis of the footage.

Shankar Singh father of the deceased said that about a year ago, Mukesh Kumar Singh and some youths of another village had a tiff over a trivial matter and they had threatened him with dire consequences though the matter was subsided at that time. On the incident day, he had a talk with Mukesh Kumar Singh on mobile and he had said that he was on duty and would return home after some time. Mukesh Kumar Singh after depositing day collection in the Bajaj Finance Company in the evening on March 31, 2024, was returning home on his motorcycle when motorcycle borne three masked miscreants intercepted near the State Boring at Sarangpur village under Ara Muffassil police station and pumped nine bullets into his body from point blank range and killed him on spot. Later they escaped from the scene.
