MISCREANTS SHOT DEAD A YOUTH, ARRESTED

Ara, 23 April 2023, (RNI): Some armed miscreants shot dead a person from point blank range at Saraiya village under Krishnagarh police station in the late night on April 22, 2023. Police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Ghanshyam Yadav 46 son of Akalu Yadav. An FIR was lodged with the police under Krishnagarh police station against 11 named and three unknown persons in this regard on the statement of Putuyl Kumari daughter of the deceased. Police arrested four miscreants and sent them to jail after interrogation. The deceased had come out of jail about a fortnight ago on bail. Personal enmity is said to be the cause behind the incident.

Putu Kumari said that Ghanshyam Yadav was sleeping in his house when at least 5 miscreants entered the house at about 1am and pumped bullets into his body while sleeping and killed him on spot.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that Ghanshyam Yadav had come out of the jail on bail about a fortnight ago. He said that Ghanshyam Yadav had enmity with Manager Yadav and his sons. In the year 2021-2022 two persons, uncle and nephew of a family were killed and the police arrested Ghanshyam Yadav in this regard and sent him to jail. And when Ghanshyam Yadav came out of jail, he was killed merely to take revenge of the double murder.
