MISCREANTS SHOT DEAD A YOUNT IN BHOJPUR VILLAGE

ARA (RNI) Some unidentified armed miscreants shot dead a youth and threw his body on the bank of a canal at Nawada Ben under Gajrajganj police station in Bhojpur district about 300 meter from his house. It was said that the miscreants killed him and threw his body near the bank of the canal. The police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Neeraj Kumar alias Kallu 24 son of Lal Jee Chauhan of Nawada Ben village under Gajrajganj police station. The deceased worked in a private company at Pune in Maharashtra for the last one year while his family members lived in their new house at Nawada Ben village for the last 18 years. The SHO Gajrajganj police station Hari Prasad alog with police force rushed to the spot and started investigating the matter. An FIR was lodged with the police under Gajrajganj police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. Reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained.

Vipul Kumar brother of the deceased said that marriage of Dheeraj Kumar son of his maternal uncle was to be solemnized on March 11, 2025 at Ramgarh in Uttar Pradesh and so Neeraj Kumar had come to in the night on March 9, 2025 from Pune to attend the marriage ceremony. He further said that Neeraj Kumar went to his maternal grandmother to meet his mother but she was not there and he informed Vipul Kumar, his brother about it. But he did not return home that night. Vipul Kumar said when he did not return home till late night, he and other family members searched for him and found his body lying near the bank of the canal in the village about 300 meter from the house. He denied any dispute with anyone.
