ARA------------------------Some armed miscreants shot dead a minor boy at Alipur village under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur district. The deceased was identified as Ritik Kumar 12 son of late Shiv Prasann Yadav of Bhakura village under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur district. He was a student of Class VIII. He had come to his maternal uncle (mausa) at Alipur village to attend Shraddh ritual. The police, on information arrived at the spot and brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Police are investigating the matter. Reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained.
ASP Parichay Kumar said that mother-in-law of his maternal aunt (mausi) Lal Muni Devi had died at Alipur villae and he come there to attend her Shraddh ritual when some armed miscreants shot at and injured from point blank range and escaped. The family members rushed him to the Ara Sadar Hospital but the doctors declared him dead. The ASP further said that initial investigation has revealed some clues but it would not be proper to disclose yet.
