MISCREANTS SHOT DEAD A BUSINESSMAN AT ARA

ARA--------------------------Some unidentified armed miscreants shot dead a youth from point blank range near Majhaua Bridge under Ara town police station in the morning and escaped. The police recovered three live cartridges from the pocket of the deceased. The deceased was identified as Prince Singh 26 son of Hemant Kumar Singh alias Tuntun Singh of Kudariya village under Sinha police station. He was a businessman by profession. Later the police brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Ara town police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. Land dispute is said to be the cause behind the incident.
SHO, Ara town police station Devraj Rai said that Prince Kumar had a dispute with Harendra Singh of the village over 7 kattha of land for quite some time and both the parties had assembled at the house of Badahara MLA Raghwendra Pratap Singh several times. Meanwhile, Prince Kumar was going towards Police Line on his motorcycle when some armed miscreants chased and shot him dead near Majhaua Bridge under Ara town police station. The local residents rushed him to a private nursing home at Babu Bazaar where the doctor declared him dead. On information the family members also arrived at the nursing home and took the body to their house at Gausganj near Vishwakarma temple under Ara town police station. Later the police came and recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The family members blamed Harendra Singh and his son of their village Kudariya for the murder of Prince Kumar.
Prince Kumar was married with Asha Devi in the month of May, 2022. His wife Asha Devi is a clerk in the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Minister of Jal Shakti, Government of India in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The deceased had also a one year old daughter Shivangi.
