MISCREANTS SHOT AT AND INJURED THREE YOUTHS AT ARA
Some armed miscreants shot at and injured three youths, in a broad day light, near Bajari Sah Ka Gola Ward No 7 at Aranya Devi temple under Ara town police station in the evening on August 22, 2024 and escaped from the scene.
ARA (RNI) Some armed miscreants shot at and injured three youths, in a broad day light, near Bajari Sah Ka Gola Ward No 7 at Aranya Devi temple under Ara town police station in the evening on August 22, 2024 and escaped from the scene. Two of the injured have been admitted to a private nursing home while one injured is admitted to the Ara Sadar Hospital. They are said to be out of danger. Reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained. The injured were identified as Rahul Kumar 24 son of Jyoti Prakash of Badi Mosque, Aman Kumar 21 son of Balram Prasad of Purani Adalat Padav Mora and Jitu Kumar 26 son of late Baiju Prasad of Gupta lane at Aranaya Devi temple under Ara town police station. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Ara town police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.
Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that he got information at about 7pm on August 22, 2024 that some armed miscreants had shot at and injured three youths in the Biscuit lane at Bajari Sah Gola near Aranya Devi temple under Ara town police station. The SHO Ara town police station Devraj Rai along with police team rushed to the spot and admitted the injured to the hospitals. A team of Forensic Science Laboratory has also been requisitioned and it collected evidences from the spot.
He further said that during verification it came to light that some years ago the injured persons were named accused in a murder and they were shot at and injured merely for retaliation. He said that the accused have been identified and a police team under the ASP Parichay Kumar has been formed. The police team is conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. He added that the miscreants will very soon be arrested and the exact cause of incident will be known.
