ARA---------------------------Some armed miscreants pumped two bullets into the body of a youth at Matiyara village under Giddha police station in Bhojpur district when he was playing cricket in a field along with his friends. The family members rushed him to a private nursing home at Babu Bazaar under Ara Babu under Ara town police station. Police arrived at the spot and investigated the matter. The injured was identified as a graduate student, Siddarth Kumar 20 son of Suresh Singh, a contractor and resident of Matiyara village Ward No 7 under Giddha police station. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Giddha police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.
SHO Giddha police station said that Siddharth Kumar along with his friends was playing cricket in a field at Matiyara village under Giddha police station when motorcycle borne three armed miscreants Sanjeev, Kundan and an unknown youth came there and forced Siddharth Kumar to sit on their motorcycle. When he refused, the miscreants fired on him. As he ducked, the bullets hit him in his chest and neck. Later the miscreants escaped from the scene.
Suresh Kumar Singh, a contractor and son of the injured denied any dispute with anyone.
