-Motorcycle borne unidentified armed miscreants shot at and injured a teacher in between Bahoranpur and Damodarpur village under Bahoranpur police station in Bhojpur district when he was returning after unfurling the national flag in the school. Later the miscreants escaped from the scene.

ARA-------------------------Motorcycle borne unidentified armed miscreants shot at and injured a teacher in between Bahoranpur and Damodarpur village under Bahoranpur police station in Bhojpur district when he was returning after unfurling the national flag in the school. Later the miscreants escaped from the scene. The injured was identified as Yogendra Kumar 36 son of Shiv Ratan Sah of Damodarpur village under Bahoranpur police station. The injured was rushed to the Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. An FIR was lodged with the police under Bahoranpur police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. Reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained.
SHO Bahoranpr police station said that Yogendra Kumar was posted at Middle school Chamarpur under Bahoranpur police station as an assistant teacher had gone to his village to unfurl national flag. When he was returning home, motorcycle bore unidentified armed miscreants shot at and injured him and escaped from the scene.
SDPO, Jagdishpur Rajeev Chandra Singh said that the injured was returning home on his motorcycle after unfurling national flag when some miscreants shot at and injured him. He said that the police have recovered a blank cartridge from the spot.
