BUXAR-----------------------Motorcycle borne armed miscreants shot at and injured a grocery businessman in a market at Kathaar Road under Krishnabrahm police station in Buxar district and escaped from the scene. The injured was admitted to the Sub-Divisional Hospital. The injured was identified as Lalan Kumar Sah 28 son of Shiv Jee Sah of Chakki village. After the incident, all the businessmen down their shutter. Fear psychosis prevails in and around the area following the incident. On the information of shopkeepers, police arrived at the spot and are investigating the matter though the family members of the injured have not lodged any FIR with the police in this regard so far. The police are also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. Reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained.
SHO Krishnabrahm police station Nitish Kumar said that Lalan Kumar Sah has pottery shop at Kathar road under Krishnabraham police station in Buxar district. In the late evening on November 23,2024, when he was in his shop, motorcycle borne some armed miscreants came to the shop and asked Lalan Kumar Singh to show them a bowel. When he was trying to show the bowel, one of the miscreants shot at and injured him and escaped from the scene.
