MISCREANTS SHOT AT AND INJURED A PERSON AT ARA

Ara (RNI) In a broad day light, one person received bullet and was injured during a dance dispute at a reception party at Pakariyabar village under Gajrajganj police outpost in Bhojpur district. The injured was admitted to the Ara Sadar Hospital. He is identified as Manoj Kumar 48 son of Jitendra Kumar of Pakariyabar village under Gajrajganj police outpost. He is a farmer and elder brother of Amit Kumar, an advocate at Ara Civil Court. On information, the police rushed to the spot and recovered five blank cartridges besides one live cartridge from the spot. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Gajrajganj police outpost in this regard. Police are investigating the matter on the basis of CCTV footage and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that a dance programme was organized at a reception party of Sumit Kumar younger brother of the advocate at Pakariyabar village under Gajrajganj police outpost in which Nandan Singh was invited who came there with two of his friends Guppu and Sonu. During the dance programme, Nandan Singh and his friends started misbehaving with the dancer and when objected, they embroiled in arguing though the matter was hushed up at that time. Next morning, the trio including Nandan Singh again came to his house and knocked the door. When Manoj Kumar opened the door, they fired at and injured him and escaped from the scene.

The SP further said that a police team has been formed to investigate the matter and also to arrest the miscreants. The police team is conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. He added that the injured was shifted to emergency hospital at Pir Baba Mor where the injured was operated upon and the bullet was taken out of his body.
