ARA--------------------------Motorcycle borne armed miscreants shot at and injured a middle aged shop owner near Charpokhari block office gate under Charpokhri police station on Ara-Sasaram State Highway in the night and escaped from the scene. The police admitted the injured in the CHC, Charpokhari but the doctor later referred him to a private clinic at Ara. The injured was identified as Anil Sah 45 son of Nanhaku Sah of Kewatiya village under Krishnagarh police station.
SHO Charpokhari police station Sanjay Kumar Sinha said that Anil Sah had a make-shift shop near the gate of Charpokhari block and used to sell food items. In the late evening, motorcycle borne two armed miscreants came at the shop and asked for litti. As the shop owner demanded money for the food items, the miscreants shot at and injured and escaped from the scene. Meanwhile, the Bhojpur SP formed a police team under the Piro DSP to investigate the matter and also to arrest the miscreants.
