ARA---------------------------Bhojpur police arrested six miscreants from near Japani Agriculture Farm under Nawada police station inkling a liner and a patron and recovered gold jewelries of 630 grams from them. The arrested miscreants were identified as Aman Kumar of Abarpur Padav Mor Bhathi locality under Ara town police station, Rahul Kumar alias Golu Kumar, Ankit Kumar of Ibrahimnagar locality under Ara town police station, Priyanshu Kumar of Dharahara locality under Ara town police station, Amit Kumar of Chandawa Krishna Nagar locality under Nawada police station and Sachin Kumar of Bagh Majhaua under Koewlar police station in Bhojpur district. Police are conducting raids to arrest the rest three miscreants in this regard.

Bhojpur SP Mister Raj said that a goldsmith Nagendra Kumar is a resident of Patna but presently he lived at Kashyap Nagar under Nawada police station. His brother-in-law Pramod Kumar and Sunny Kumar son of one of his friends of Bichali Road under Ara town police station made jewelries from gold. Nagendra Kumar was going to Bakarganj in Patna at about 5am on January 15, 2025 with gold jewelries of 630 grams of them in an auto-rickshaw and the jewelries were to be delivered there. When he reached near Japani Agricultural Farm under Nawada police station, motorcycle borne armed miscreants had intercepted and forcibly took him out of the auto rickshaw and took him inside the Japani Farm campus where they snatched gold jewelries of 630 grams from goldsmith Nagendra Kumar at pistol point. They threatened him with dire consequences if he dared to inform the police and escaped from the scene.

Nagendra Kumar lodged an FIR with the police under Nawada police station in this regard. Taking it seriously, the SP formed a police under the SHO Nawada police station Bipin Bihari. Following mobile surveillance and technical research, the police came to know that at least nine miscreants were involved in this loot case. Later the police arrested six miscreants involved in the case and recovered looted jewelries of 630 grams.

The SP further said that Aman Kumar had worked as liner and on his information, two miscreants chased Nagendra Kumar from New Police Line and motorcycle borne two more miscreants followed him from Sankat Mochan area under Nawada police station. At the gate of Japani Agriculture Farm, motorcycle borne four miscreants intercepted the auto rickshaw and dragged Nagendra Kumar out of the vehicle and took him inside the Japani Farm. The SP further said that Ankit, Golu, Sachin and Amit had snatched jewelries while Aman Kumar worked as liner and Priyashu had given them shelter.
