Some unidentified armed miscreants entered the Badaka Sihanpura branch of the Punjab National Bank (PNB) under Simari police station and decamped with Rs. 19.50 lakh in cash. The Buxar SP along with police force rushed to the bank and investigated the matter.

BUXAR-------------------------Some unidentified armed miscreants entered the Badaka Sihanpura branch of the Punjab National Bank (PNB) under Simari police station and decamped with Rs. 19.50 lakh in cash. The Buxar SP along with police force rushed to the bank and investigated the matter.
Buxar SP Manish Singh said that motorcycle borne seven masked miscreants on three motorcycles came at the Badaka Sihanpura branch of the PNB. Four of them entered the bank while two stayed outside the bank to keep vigil and one at the gate of the bank. The miscreants attacked the Branch Manager Deepak Kumar with the pistol butt and made all the customers and all the bank employees captive. They took out about Rs. 19.50 from the chest of the bank and escaped from the scene waving arms. The Branch Manager Deepak Kumar informed the police about the incident. The Buxar SP Manish Kumar, Dumraon SDPO Akhatar Ansari along with police force rushed to the spot to have first hand information. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.
It may be mentioned here that the miscreants had attacked this branch twice earlier though both the time they had to return with wry face.
