MISCREANTS KILLED A LABOUR AND ALSO GOUGED OUT HIS EYES

ARA-------------------------Some miscreants thrashed to death a labour near a Sun temple at Sarvari Bridge in Bara-Basantpur village under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur district and threw the body in field of the village. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.  Family members blamed that his friend killed him merely for Rs. 500 and also gouged out his both the eyes with dagger and threw the body in the field though the police did not confirm the incident of gouging out of the eyes. The deceased was identified as Mohan Singh 20 son of Laxmi Narayan Singh of Bara-Basantpur village. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Ara Muffassil police station in this regard and the police are investigating the matter.

Radha Mohan Singh, elder brother of the deceased said that the son of Vakil Mahato of the village came to his house in the night at about 9pm and took Mohan Singh with him. Some boys were already were who said that Vakil Mahato had taken Rs. 500 from the contractor with whom Mohan Singh worked. When he demanded his money, he told him to come with his Adhar Card to take money. They took him to the Sarvari Bridge and celebrated a party there. Later they strangulated him to death and also gouged his both the eyes with a dagger and threw the body in a field of the village. Villagers in the morning saw the body of Mohan Singh lying in the field and informed his family members. Radha Mohan Singh blamed Vakil Mahato’s son and some other youths of the village for the murder of Mohan Singh.
