ARA---------------------One miscreant tore the uniform of a Sub-Inspector, scratch the batch and threw it away at Pakari locality under Ara Nawada police station in the late evening when the police had arrested him. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Nawada police station on the statement of the SI and the police sent him to jail after interrogation. The arrested miscreant was identified as Abhinandan Kumar of New Colony at Pakari under Nawada police station. The injured SI Gopal Pandey was admitted to the Ara Sadar Hospital.
The SI Gopal Pandey said that Manoj Mishra complained at about 6.30pm that a thief was trying to commit theft in his house at Pakari road under Nawada police station. On information, he along with some police personnel rushed to the spot and arrested the thief. When the police were putting him in the vehicle, he abused the police and thrashed him, tore his uniform, scratched his batch and threw it away and tried to escape but the police arrested him with the help of local residents.
