MISCREANT SURRENDERS IN THE ARA CIVIL COURT

ARA (RNI) Under mounting pressure of the police, liner and a named accused in the murder of CSP owner at Bahoranpur surrendered in the Ara Civil Court and he was sent to jail under judicial custody. The miscreant was identified as Vikas Kumar Thakur.

Bhojpur SP Mister Raj said that some armed miscreants had shot dead a CSP owner Dharmendra Kumar Rai at Bahoranpur under Bahoranpur police outpost in Bhojpur district on April 3, 2024 and had snatched Rs.4 lakh from him. Vikas Kumar Thakur who had relation at Damodarpur village and frequenly visited the village. He came in contact with Sujit Rai of the village and hatched a plan of loot and murder. He worked as liner and Dharmendra Rai, CSP owner was shot dead and Rs. 4 lakh looted from him. The SP stated that the police had already arrested five miscreants incluidngn the conspirator, murder and patron and were sent to jail. The police had also recovered the looted Rs. 4 lakh. The SP further said that during interrogation, name of Vikas Kumar Thakur had figured who had played a role of liner in the murder. Polcie were continuously conducting raids to arrest him. At last Vikas Kumar Thakur, under mounting pressure, surrendered in the court and was sent to jail under jucicial custody.
