ARA---------------------------Some unidentified armed miscreants shot at and injured a teenage boy near Siyarua village Mor under Jagdishpur police station on Ara-Mohania main road in Bhojpur district in the evening escaped from the scene. The injured was admitted to the Jagdishpur Sub-Divisional Hospital but the doctor referred him to the Ara Sadar Hospital after first aid. The injured is identified as Ankit Kumar 15 son of Lalan Ram of Jagdishpur Ward No 18 under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur district. Reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained. An FIR is lodged with the police under Jagdishpur police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. Love affair is said to be cause behind the incident. After the incident, the villagers became agitated and blocked the Ara-Mohania main road and paralyzed movement of vehicles. They raised slogans against the police administration and demanded arrest of the miscreants. Jagdishpur police with the SHO reached the spot and persuaded the agitating villagers. The blockade could be lifted after the response of the police within 24 hours.
SHO Jagdishpur police station Bigau Ram said that Ankit Kumar was using mobile near Siyarua village Mor under Jagdishpur police station on Ara-Mohania main road when a youth of the village came and pumped bullet into his body and escaped from the scene.
