MISCREANT SHOT AT AND INJURED A PERSON

ARA---------------------------Some armed miscreants intruded a private clinic at Dhanupura under Ara town police station and pumped three bullets into the body of a youth. The injured was admitted to a private nursing home at Ara. The injured was identified as Rangnath Chauhan 33 son of Sitaram Chauhan of Pali village under Gaurichak police station in Patna district. Reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. The police also seized two blank cartridges from the spot.

The injured Rang Nath Chauhan said that his in-laws lived at Dhanupura under Ara town police station. He had come to his in-laws for the delivery of his wife. He admitted his wife in a private clinic where she begot a male child on August 28, 2023 after operation and she is still in the hospital and he was also in the hospital for her nursing. In the evening he was sitting at the ground floor of the hospital, some armed miscreants came and pumped three bullets into his body and badly injured him and escaped from the scene.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that a person had come to the Vindhyawasini Hospital at Dhanupura under Ara town police station for the delivery of his wife. Meanwhile a youth came and pumped bullets into his body. The police had recognized the miscreant from the CCTV footage and are conducting raids to arrest the miscreant. Dr Vikas Singh who is treating the injured said that the condition of the injured is still critical. Love affair is said to be the cause behind the incident.
