ARA----------------------------One young girl drowned in the canal at Tarari village under the same police station. The police fished out the body the next day from near Bipindiha village and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Anju Kumari 9 daughter of Ram Govind Musahar of Mandiha village under Navanagar police station in Buxar district.
SHO Tarari police station Pradip Kumar Bhashkar said that Anju Kumari had come to his maternal uncle Naresh Musahar at Tarari village. She went to the Bihia canal in the village to have a dip. While bathing, she was swept away in the fast current and was drowned. The SHO requested the SDO, Sone Canal department to stop supply of water to the canal. After the water supply was stopped, the police could fish out the body from the canal near Bipandih village and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
