MINOR GIRL KILLED, HER FATHER INJURED

ARA-------------------------One minor girl was killed while her father was seriously injured when a motorcycle dashed a truck parked on roadside from behind near Tenduni Chowk under Jagdishpur police station on Bihia-Bihata main road in Bhojpur district in the late evening on April 8, 2025. The police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted her father there but the doctor referred him to the Patna Medical College and Hospital in precarious condition. The deceased was identified as Divya Kumar 4 while the injured was identified as her father Dharmendra Kumar Pandit of Judge Bhadasara village Ward No 9 under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur district.

Sita Devi, mother of the deceased said that her mother had died and so she along with her husband, Dharmendra Kumar Pandit, son Divyam Kumar, seven month old and daughter Divya Kumari 4 on a motorcycle to Lahthan village under Agiaw Bazaar police station in Bhojpur district in the evening on April 8, 2025 and when they reached near Tenduni village under Jagdishpur police station on Bihia-Bihata main road, her husband lost balance and the motorcycle dashed against a truck parked on the road in which Dhamendra Kumar Pandit and Divya Kumari were injured though Divya Kumar succumbed to her injuries on way to the Ara Sadar Hospital.
