MINOR GIRL KILLED, FATHER, MOTHER AND SISTER INJURED

ARA (RNI) One teenage girl was killed while three others were injured when a speeding truck dashed their motorc ycle from behind near Bus Stand at Karawa village under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur district in the evening on July 18, 2024. The deceased was identified as Manya Kumari daughter of Chandan Kumar Sharma while the injured were identified as Chandan Kumar Sharma, his wife Sita Devi and elder daughter Paridhi Kumari of Banjaria village under Murar police station in Buxar district. The police admitted the injured to the Ara Sadar Hospital but the doctor later referred Chandan Kumar Sharma to the Patna Medical College and Hospital in precarious condition. The family members took the body back to the village without postmortem. The driver of the truck escaped from the scene with the truck after the incident. 

Anshu Kumar said that Chandan Kumar Sharma worked in his house. He along with his wife Sita Devi and two daughters Paridhi Kumari and Manya Kumari was coming to his rented house at Godhana road under Nawada police station at Ara in Bhojpur district on a motorcycle from his village Banjaria in Buxar district when he reached near the Bus Stand at Karawa village, a speeding truck dashed the motorcycle from behind killing Manya Kumari on spot and injuring Chandan Kumar Sharma, his wife Sita Devi and elder daughter Paridhi Kumari.
