MINOR GIRL DIED OF FOOD POISONING
One minor girl died while at least half a dozen children fell ill after taking meal at Dalit colony near S9uth Tola of Ward No 35 in Dumraon Sub-Division in Buxar.
Buxar, 14 May 2023, (RNI): One minor girl died while at least half a dozen children fell ill after taking meal at Dalit colony near S9uth Tola of Ward No 35 in Dumraon Sub-Division in Buxar. The family member rushed them to the Dumraon Sub-Divisional hospital but the doctors referred them to Buxar Sadar Hospital. The ailing children are identified as Nitu Kumari 10, Pankaj 8 children of Ram Jee Ram, Himanshu 2, Priyanshu 4, Preetam 8 and Priya 6 children of Manoj Ram. Later Nitu Kumari died during treatment at the hospital.
Ram Jee Ram said that all the children took meal together and retired to bed. In the morning, when they woke up, they complained vomiting, giddiness and stomachache. The family members rushed them to the Dumraon Sub-Divisional hospital but the doctor referred all of them to the Buxar Sadar Hospital where Nitu Kumar died.
