ARA-------------------------One minor boy met his water grave in a local pond at Basubag west to the Badiha village under Sandesh police station while having a dip in it. The villagers took out the body of the boy from the pond. The deceased was identified as Suraj Kumar 7 son of Surendra Yadav of Badiha village under Sandesh police station. He was a student of class II. The police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
Surendra Yadav father of the deceased said that Suraj Kumar along with five children of the village had gone to outskirt of the village in the evening for playing where he along with his friends entered the village pond to have a bath. All his friends came out of the pond after taking bath except Suraj Kumar who went in the deep water and drowned. After some time an elderly person working in the field nearby found the body floating on the surface of the pond. He informed the family members of the boy. The family members rushed to the spot and with the help of villagers took the body out of the pond and informed the police. On information, the police rushed to the spot and brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
