MINOR BOY KILLED, SEVEN INJURED

Ara (RNI) One minor boy was killed while seven other injured when a speeding car dashed against a truck parked on roadside at Bihia Chaurasta under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district. The police brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there. Later the doctor referred father of the deceased to the Patna Medical College and Hospital in precarious condition. The deceased was identified as Sunny Kumar 12 son of Rajesh Rai of Bhagwanpur village under Bhagwanpur police station in Vaishali district while the injured were identified as Rajesh Rai and Seema Devi parents of the deceased, uncle Ritu Raj, aunt Sandhya Kumari of the deceased, uncle (mausa) Vikas Kumar, aunt (mausi) Deepshikha Kumari and cousin brother Shivank Kumar of Khalaut village under Bidupur police station in Vaishali district. 

Ritu Raj, uncle of the deceased said that he was married on March 12, 2024 and so he along with other family members had gone to Varanasi to worship at Vishwanth temple in a car. When they were returning home in the late night and as they reached near Bihia Chaurasta under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district, Rajesh Rai who was driving the car, lost control over the steering and the car dashed against the truck parked there in which Sunny Kumar was killed while all the members of the family were injured.
