MINOR BOY KIDNAPPED FROM VARANASI, RECOVERED FROM BUXAR

Buxar, 9 May 2023, (RNI): Buxar police recovered a minor boy from a house at Mungao village under Koransarai police station in Buxar district in Bihar. The boy was kidnapped from the Varanasi Railway Cant. in Uttar Pradesh on May 2, 2023. The police handed over the boy to the Child Welfare Committee and later the committee gave the boy to the Special Adoption Authority, Ara Protection Unit, Ara. Later the Labour Enforcement Officer, Ara Vibha Kumari viral the photographs on social media and also sent the photographs to different police stations.

SHO Koransarai police station said that a 3 year old child was kidnapped from the Varanasi Cant. Railway Station in Uttar Pradesh on May 2, 2023 and an FIR was lodged with the police under GRP at Varanasi Cant. Railway Station regarding kidnapping of the boy. After institution of FIR, the police swung into action with the help of their Bihar counterpart recovered the boy from the house of Basant Yadav who was issueless at Mungaon village under Koransarai police station in Buxar district in Bihar. As Basant was issueless, the villagers informed the Koransarai police station that a minor child was seen playing in the house of Basant Yadav and on their information, the police recovered the boy from his house.

Basant Yadav said that the boy was found unattended at the Varanasi Cant Railway Station in Uttar Pradesh and as he had no issue, he kept the boy in his house.
