One middle aged person was beaten with spade and killed at Bishunpur village under Chandi police station in Bhojpur district
Ara, 12 May 2023, (RNI): One middle aged person was beaten with spade and killed at Bishunpur village under Chandi police station in Bhojpur district. The police recovered the body from the bank of the river Sone at Bishunpura and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Jeetan Singh 45 son of late Ramanuj Singh of Bishunpura village under Chandi police station. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Chandi police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. Reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained.
SHO Chandi police station Sourabh Kumar said that some miscreants thrashed Jeetan Singh at Bishunpura village with spade and killed him and threw the body on the bank of the river Sone in the village. The police recovered the body in the morning today and recovered a spade and a mobile from the site.
