MIDDLE AGED PERSON DROWNED INTO THE POND IN KAIMUR DISTRICT

BHABHUA------------------------One middle aged person drowned into a pond at Namez village of Kudara block in Kaimur district. The deceased was identified as Srikant Pal 52 son of Palatu Pal of Nimez village. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Bhabhua Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

Villagers said that Srikant Pal had gone to towards the pond in the village to attend call of nature in the late nigh on April 8, 2025 but he did not return home. The family members searched for him everywhere but in vain. In morning today, the school children located a body floating in the pond nearby and they raised alarm. The villagers took the body out of the pond. The family member identified him as Srikant Pal. The villagers also informed the police in this regard. On information, the police arrived at the spot, recovered the body and brought it to the Bhabhua Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The villagers suspected that Srikant Pal slipped into the pond and drowned.
