MIDDLE AGED PERSON DROWNED IN THE VILLAGE POND, DIED
-Bhojpur police recovered body of a middle aged person from a pond at Osai village under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district and brought it to the Ara Sadr Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Triloki Ram 50 son of late Aliyar Ram of Osai village.
Ara, 22 July 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur police recovered body of a middle aged person from a pond at Osai village under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district and brought it to the Ara Sadr Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Triloki Ram 50 son of late Aliyar Ram of Osai village.
SHO Bihia police station said that Triloki Ram was missing since evening on July 20, 2023. The family members searched for him everywhere but in vain. Meanwhile, the villagers saw his body floating in the pond of the village. They informed his family members and the police. The villagers fished out the body from the pond.
It was said that Triloki Ram had gone to the bank of the pond to wash his hands and feet but slipped into the pond and drowned to death.
The Bihia CO said that the deceased’s family would be given financial assistance from the Disaster Relief Fund.
