MASON SHOT AT, INJURED

Ara, 27 February 2023, (RNI): Armed miscreant shot at and injured a mason at Srinagar village under Ayar police station in the morning today when he had gone to the field to attend call of nature. The injured was rushed to the Ara Sadar Hospital but the doctor referred him to the Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) in precarious condition though the family members took him to a private nursing home at Ara instead where his condition is stated to be critical. An FIR was lodged with the police under Ayar police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreant. The injured was identified as Sonu Singh 25 son of Ram Babu Singh of Srinagar village under Ayar police station in Bhojpur. 

Quoting the FIR, the SHO Ayar police station Manoj Kumar said that Sonu Singh of Srinagar village had a tiff with a youth named kariya of the village about a month ago but the matter was subsided. In the morning on Monday, when Sonu Singh was going to the field in the village to attend call of nature, the said youth named Kariya came on motorcycle and pumped bullets into his body and escaped from the scene.
