MARRIED WOMAN STRANGULATED TO DEATH
Bhojpur police arrested Mudrika Rai and his son Munna Rai from Semara village under Badahara police station in Bhojpur district in connection with murder of a woman and sent them to jail after interrogation. Land dispute is said to be cause behind the incident.
Ara, 26 May 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur police arrested Mudrika Rai and his son Munna Rai from Semara village under Badahara police station in Bhojpur district in connection with murder of a woman and sent them to jail after interrogation. Land dispute is said to be cause behind the incident.
Bijendra Rai of Semara village said that he had land dispute with his elder brother Mudrika Rai since 2010 and added that his brother and nephew attacked and injured with sharp edged weapon in 2010 and an FIR was lodged with the police under Badahara police station and they were arrested and sent to jail. Mudrika Rai came out of the jail on bail after some time. Bijendra Rai further said that he had gone to attend a marriage ceremony in the village. Meanwhile, Mundrika Rai and his son Munna Rai strangulated his wife Bucchi Devi 36 to death and escaped from the scene.
