MARRIED WOMAN CONSUMED POISON TO COMMIT SUICIDE AFTER HER HUSBAND MARRIES WITH AN EUNUCH
A married woman tried to commit suicide by consuming poison at Kanaili village under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district after her husband married with a eunuch. She was admitted to the Ara Sadar Hospital where his condition is stated to be serious.
Ara, 28 June 2023, (RNI): A married woman tried to commit suicide by consuming poison at Kanaili village under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district after her husband married with a eunuch. She was admitted to the Ara Sadar Hospital where his condition is stated to be serious.
Rani Devi of Ghopatpur said that she was married to Madhu Singh of Kanaili village under Shahpur police station in the year 2020 and her husband lived in Patna at present and is a bus driver there. She is four months pregnant. She blamed that her husband Madhu Singh married with a eunuch some days ago and now he seldom comes to her and stopped giving money.
She further said that Madhu Singh had come to his native village two days ago and when she demanded money for household expenses, he thrashed her. He also said that he has nothing to do with her and she may commit suicide by consuming poison. So she tried to commit suicide by consuming poison.
On the other hand, Madhu Singh said that he met an accident and the eunuch gave him Rs. 90,000 for treatment. The eunuch also asked him that all is well and so marry her and so he married her and he is not guilty.
