MARRIED WOMAN COMMITS SUICIDE IN BHOJPUR VILLAGE

ARA---------------------------One married woman committed suicide by hanging herself to the ceiling of her house at Mathiyapur village under Chandi police station in Bhojpur district. The deceased was identified as Rinki Devi 30 wife of Dinesh Chaudhary of Mathiapur village under Chandi police station. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.

Uncle-in-law of the deceased Jaglal Chaudhary said that Dinesh Chaudhary was a drug addict and he always asked for money from his wife and that was bone of contention in between to two. The deceased had filed a ‘Sanaha’ with the police under Chandi police station in this regard some days ago. He further said that Dinesh Chaudhary was asking for money from his wife for the last three days in a state of intoxication and both had quarreled over it. Later Dinesh Chaudhary went to his duty. When he returned in the evening, he found the door of his room closed from inside. He knocked at the door several times but he did not get any response. So he collected all the members of the family and broke into the room and found his wife hanging to the ceiling. He informed the police. On information, the police rushed to the spot and took down the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. An FIR was lodged with the police under Chandi police station in this regard and the police are investigating the matter.
