MARRIED WOMAN COMMITS SUICIDE IN ARA

ARA-------------------------One married woman committed suicide by hanging herself to the ceiling fan of her house at Ujiar Tola under Ara Town police station. The deceased was identified as Usha Devi 34 wife of Aditya Bind of Ujiar Tola under Ara town police station. The police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. Her parental family members blamed that her in-laws killed her merely for a gold chain and later hanged her to the ceiling fan to give it a colour of suicide. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Ara town police station and the police are investigating the matter.

Nand Kumar Bind of Diliya Tola under Jagdishpur police station and father of the deceased said that her daughter Usha Devi was married with Aditya Bind son of Bindeshwari Bind of Ujiar Tola under Ara town police station on June 2022. Six months after the marriage, her in-laws and even husband started demanding gold chain and torturing her mentally and physically. She always requested her father for a gold chain but her father consoled her saying that as soon as he managed money, he would give gold chain. But the in-laws continued tortured her physically and so he said that he was coming to her next day. Meanwhile, the in-laws killed her and hanged her body to the ceiling fan to give colour of suicide. On the other hand, Aditya Bind, husband of the deceased said that he was ailing and he had gone on work and when he returned home in the evening, his children said that their mother committed suicide. He also refuted all charges framed against him by his father-in-law.

It may said here that the deceased was married to Raj Kumar of her village seven years and her husband died of some diseases some times after the marriage. Likewise Aditya Bind was married to Rambha Devi first and after her dead in the year 2020 from diarrhea and so Usha Devi and Aditya Bind were married second time.
