MARRIED WOMAN COMMITS SUICIDE

Ara, 10 June 2023, (RNI): One married woman committed suicide by hanging herself to the ceiling fan in her house at Basvaria Tola under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur district. The deceased was identified as Priyanka Devi wife of Dharmendra Yadav of Basvaria Tola. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Jagdishpur police station and the police are investigating the matter.

SHO Jagdishpur police station said that Priyanka Devi of Ramdihara village was married to Dharmendra Yadav son of Ram Jee Yadav of Basavaria Tola under Jagdishpur police station five years ago and she had a three years old girl child with the marriage. She was tortured always for dowry.
