MARRIED WOMAN COMMITS SUICIDE

ARA-------------------------One married woman committed suicide by tying scarf around her neck at Birampur village under Giddha police station in Bhojpur district after the death of her lover in road accident. A team of Forensic Science Laboratory arrived at the spot and collected evidences. The deceased was identified as Renu Devi 30 wife of Kamlesh Dhanuk of Birampur Ward No 3 under Giddha police station. Later the police recover the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.

Chhotu Prasad, elder brother-in-law of the deceased said that he had gone on work in the morning when his wife informed that his younger brother’s wife Renu Devi had committed suicide by tying scarf around her neck. On information, he rushed to his house and found that the villagers and even the police were already there. He said that it is not known as to why and how she hanged herself and he did not accuse anyone for this.

SHO Giddha police station Umush Salama said that the police took Kamlesh Dhanuk, husband of the deceased for interrogation. She said that during interrogation, Kamlesh Dhanuk revealed that his wife Renu Devi was in relationship with a person of the village for the last two years. He and even the village panchayat admonished her several times but she did not listen and she continued meeting him. Meanwhile, her lover was killed in a road accident and so committed suicide. The deceased had two sons Ashish and Chhotak and two daughters Khushbu and Laxmina.
